GALA Spring Art Show Offers Mother’s Day Weekend Activities
On May 6, 7, and 8, the Gardner
Area League of Artists (GALA) is holding its annual Spring Art Show in a new
location for the first time. Showcasing the new Gardner Senior Center in the
former PACC hall, 294 Pleasant Street, GALA is showing over 200 pieces of art
in many media, including oil, watercolor, acrylic, mixed media, photography,
sculpture, pastel, and ceramics.
Artists: Artists interested in participating should send a
self-addressed, stamped envelope to GALA, PO Box 1158, Gardner MA 01440. Deadline:
April 1.
Musicians: Individuals and groups wishing to perform should plan
to add to the experience of the art show and will be juried by our music
committee. Send a demo and a
self-addressed, stamped envelope to GALA, PO Box 1158, Gardner MA 01440. Deadline:
Applications will be considered until all time slots are filled. To be listed in the program you must
register by April 1, 2005.
